The link to install Orion leads to a URL written in a language other than English. It appears this problem was discussed years ago on JavaRanch. I am assuming the JavaRanch link was not changed at that time.

I wonder if the JavaRanch page should maybe link to Apacke Tomcat link with some instructions. Any thoughts? Thank You.

Yes, Orion as a servlet container is no more. We are in the process of converting the servlet assignments to run on Tomcat, and at the same time modernize them to reflect changes in web development since they were first created. Meanwhile, you can go directly to Tomcat's site for instructions on downloading and installing it: http://tomcat.apache.org

Hi Greg,

I will (hopefully) be starting the servlet assignments in a few weeks. Is there a draft version of the modified servlet and jdbc assignments for the cattle drive that we can look at or are the nitpickers giving individual instructions on how to modify the assignments for tomcat.
