or am i missing something.. so if i sign up for free .. for one whole year..i can use their EC2 service to install and run hadoop?
nothing comes for free in this world .. am trying to understand what is the catch ..anyone ?

The catch is that you will like it and keep using it. They are hoping that one year will be enough time or you to build a product and start getting some income, after which you will be able to pay them
