Javascript function call not working

The javascript function is not getting triggered. Need help. very urgent. Is it any single quote or double quote missing?

Please show us the final format of the anchor tag. The server-side markup is not helpful.

Here is the format. The commented line is working fine. If I add 'this' as parameter, javascript function is not getting triggered.

I think Bear meant to "View source" on the generated HTML page and show what the anchor looks like there. That will tell if there is a quoting type issue.

Also, have you looked at the JavaScript error console in your browser yet? This will tell if there is a runtime error when trying to call the function.

Jeanne is correct. Posting server-side JSP code to try and diagnose a client-side problem doesn't help us help you. When asking questions about client-side issues, we need to see the client-side markup.

The JavaScript debugger available in all moderne browsers is your best friend. Use it.
