I want to talk something about JAVAONE conference.
I have just started of with the IT industry and don't have any experience. I have cleared the OCJP certification and preparing for OWEWCD.
Wanted to ask that is it worth for me going to the conference this year..?? It is going to be conducted on 8 and 9th of may in India.
Have heard that only much experience people go into it. can you people advice me for that.

thank you

I like going to conferences. There's always a lot of new things to learn about and a lot of people to meet. Conferences are not only for very experienced people. There are many talks on different levels, from beginners level to very specific things that will only appeal to experts in a specific niche. Why don't you lookup the program for the JavaOne India conference and see about what topics people will be presenting, to check if there are things that you'll find interesting?

I've been to JavaOne in San Francisco once (in 2009), and every year I go to Devoxx, a big conference in Antwerp, Belgium.

there are around 5 topics and two of them which i am aware of.. the most common such as "core java" and "EE". Other topics i am not aware of like Java Card, Java Embedded, JAVAFX. that's why i made a thought.
So do you think it is worth now?

If there's a lot of things you don't know anything about, then it sounds like a great opportunity to learn new things.
