Dear All,

I have developed a spring based java application that is working fine when i deployed it at my machine tomcat.

But when i deployed it at net4(vendor whom i purchases web space), it is not resolving my view by controller classes and show 404 error message.

So please help me what can be the problem.

Welcome to the JavaRanch, Pankaj!

We're going to need more information than that. Do you have access to the server's Tomcat logfiles?

Thanks tim for reply.

Actually i don't have logs file but today i tried with simple servlet project, i call a servlet from jsp page, got 404 not found error.

Do you have any knowledge about "net4"(this site provide web hosting). i am only getting problem on their server and their technical team is not expert to resolve this problem.

actually i have created application on window but deploying on linux. may it create problem ?

I'm afraid that the only question out of that set that I can answer is the last one. Java is "write-once/run-anywhere", so as long as you have no Window-specific code or file paths in your webapp, it will usually run without any changes.

I spent several years developing webapps under Windows XP for production operation under the Solaris Unix OS. I used the exact same WAR files on both.
