Hi
We use Talend as a data integration tool. It generates Java and can package a complete application as a java executable. Talend is a graphical tool and allows for one job to call other jobs, each job is built as a jar file. We use common code in all of our jobs and Talend builds a zip file with all of the jar files and a classpath.jar with the location of all of the jar files defined.

I want to move the common jar files out to a separate directory and add a relative path to each moved jar in the MANIFEST.MF file in the classpath.jar?
I have performed this manually and it works fine but the structure of the MANIFEST.MF file appears to be very fussy as I “tidied” it up manually and got a java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: error.

I have written a java job to automate the process of moving the common jar filesas changing the MANIFEST.MF but I cannot get it to work, I always get the above error.

Does anyone know what the correct format of a MANIFEST.MF file in a classpath.jar and any gotchas when creating or editing it?

Many thanks in advance

Dave
