Hi All,
I need to invoke web service needs authentication(username & password) using SOAP.

Could anybody help me with the steps/sample code?

Thanks

1. Download Soapful JAX-WS 2.x API, the Metro RI. Check Metro website.
2. Read doc.
3. use wsimport command line to generate client artifacts from the provider wsdl.
or any IDE that has JAX-WS 2.x API runtime to generate the client.
4. For basic auth: javax.xml.ws.BindingProvider

Are you asking about HTTP auth (which is what H Paul's post is about), or about WS-Security auth? Which SOAP stack are you using?
