Hello,

Can any one explain me what is the purpose of <soap : operation> tag in WSDL.

I understand that <soap : binding> declares the binding type is SOAP1.1. Then, what is the use of soapOperation attribute in this tag <soap : operation> ? WSDL recomendation says soapOperation attribute is mandatory in case of HTTP protocol.

Thanks for explaination.

I don't see any soapOperation element online.
Instead, I see this in some examples:

soap or soapbind it's just a prefix.

As in this example: soapperation style="rpc" soapAction="...." with this element you can specify the style at operation level, not just at binding level, but WSI BP recommends that if you specify style in both places the value to be the same. And soapAction corresponds to the soapAction HTTP Header, I don't know too much about it, but you can leave it "".
