Looking for a Java Bean book and NOT the EJB book

+Pie Number of slices to send: Send
Dear friends,

I am a novice with Java programming. Though i have understood the basics of Java programming in general and am dextrous in writing programs but now i am searching for a Java Bean book.
I have already gone through the books section here and do not find any such book. Also i have read a previous post on the same by Bruce Jin. looking for a java bean book
It seems that there are not many books available on this subject. After reading this Java Beans & EJB i have understood that the two are different and since i being a novice i would like to have my concepts clear so i prefer to start from Java Beans and only once i have mastered it would i then move over to EJB.

It would be very kind of you, if you may suggest me any good book on this subject that is almost equivalent to "Dietel" books.
Eagerly awaiting your response.

Cheers.

I don't know if there is a book for java beans. However, I can definitely recommend http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/JavaBeans and http://docs.oracle.com/javase/tutorial/javabeans/

Here is a book about Java Beans: Developing Java Beans

The Bean Development Kit is hard to find online, but I see someone has it uploaded to Google here: Bean Development Kit v1.1

Thanks Mack... Is there any other that's slightly more easier to understand

The Oracle online tutorial posted above and the book I referenced is all I know of. Regular JavaBeans (non-EJB) are also used in JSP and JSF so in that context you should refer to JSP or JSF material on the subject.

I shall try duplicating this discussion in the books fora; maybe you will get more attention like that. But beware of the moderator there
