I don't understand explanation "ResultSet is not open" but when it was closed ? i can't see rs.close()/statement.close() method call anywhere ?

Note that after executing the query, you execute an SQL update on the same Statement object. When you do that, the results of the query are no longer available, so you can't try to get the results anymore
