Dear Friends,
It would be wrong to state that im proficient with Database but i do have a basic fundamental knowledge of it,
In the light of this statement, i have read about NOSQL and what lil that i have understood so far is that it's the buzzword and is here to stay as long as there are "clouds" in the sky :-)
Therefore i'm intrigued to learn more about it
Its requested to you that do suggest me tuts or books that delve into this topic from a beginner point of view
Also i would like to learn about which flavor of NOSQL from the 150 listed at http://nosql-database.org/ should be taken up as a starting learning point?
I'm particularly interested in Data Mining, if this could help you in suggesting me a good one to start with
Thanks

Hadoop and MongoDB are popular NOSQL databases for Java. Both have free online classes to learn them. Mongo runs it as a timed group class. IBM runs the Hadoop one as self study
