Hello All,
Hope you all have a good week. I am trying to find out the reason why my android web service returned a HTTP request failed, HTTP status: 500.

First, I thought that there was a problem with my web service but it turned out fine when I use my regular client program to call a java web service and it worked. So the problem is with my android code and not web service code.

I have included my android code , and hope you can show me where the problem is.

and my AndroidManifest.xml where i have user permission

Well, a 500 is a server error - maybe there is a more elaborate error message in one of the server logs?

I might use an HTTP proxy (like tcpmon) to look at the requests coming in from the desktop app and from the mobile device - it sounds as if they're different somehow. If they are, then that might give you an idea for further debugging.

Hi,

Since you get a 500 error you have some trace in the server side.
What says the server log about the error?

Best regards,
