We are seeking a candidate for an excellent long-term contract opportunity.

The Java Developer will be responsible for overall system software design, development, implementation and support of applications. The design is based on IBM middleware and includes products for transaction processing, messaging, database, and systems / network management. Seeking Mid to Sr level Java, J2EE candidates with good back-end development skills, but also someone comfortable with front-end development. This role will serve as an expert in all areas of design and application development. Interested candidates will have a clear understanding of real-time distributed transactions, wireless communications, performance benchmarking and database technology.

The position requires a minimum of 5 years of software development with "direct" experience in IBM-MQ.

This is for a large enterprise company based in Maryland with career growth potential.
