Hey Guys

normally when i import a wsdl over https im prompted for user name and password. This does not happen for a wadl file?
Can someone show me how to authenticate a jersey wadl so soapUI will generate teh request for me?

Thanks

Hi Ally,

authentication in this case has nothing today with WSDL vs. WADL. It just depends on the configuration of the web server or servlet container from which you try to download the WSDL or WADL into SoapUI. If you get a password prompt only for the WSDL then probably only the corresponding download URL is protected by the server.

Why do you think you have to authenticate to get the WADL? Have you tried to open the WADL with a normal web browser?
