JTable not updated when setModel() but updated when maximized and result to overlapped UI  RSS feed

Hi,

I call setModel on JTable with new Model, however the the change is not reflected on JTable but after the window is maximized changes are reflected and the view overlaps (please refer attached images)

unable to find the problem , trying to figure out since 3 hrs , please help

My guess is you are not doing what you say you are doing. Using the setModel() method should not cause a problem like that.

Maybe you are using a null layout or something strange.

Create a simple program that just uses the setModel() method to prove that this method is not the cause of the problem. Than apply this knowledge to your real program.

yes I realize that the setModel is not causing the problem because I have used the same procedure in other frames yet after that method when this overlapping happens, I am using Netbeans Visual Builder Mattise so the GUI is built using Group Layout, so how do I resolve this
