Hi all,

I am a newbie to java programming. I am trying to run a toolkit "Artemis" which is downloaded from github, https://github.com/sanger-pathogens/Artemis, I have tried to run the zipped version and the git version in eclipse, import it as a file system, but it fails to run. Could anyone please let me know how to run this program?

Thank you very much in advance,

Regards,
Jenny

"fails to run" isn't terribly descriptive. Does it give an error? Does it not display something you think it should (and if so, what is that)?

Generally speaking, saying "ItDoesWorkIsUseless".

So where is the artemis class? How did you add the (presumably) jar to the classpath?

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
