The object always equals null data_entrada

Couple of things:
This check in your if statement won't work.


you might try

or
<c:if test="empty client.nome}">
...
</c:if>[/code]

Where is "data_entrada" meant to come from?
The input field? Then you need to read it from a request parameter. ${param.data_entrada}

In general using a jsp to read request params is a bit of a code smell. That should be in a servlet/bean
