Unable to zip the image file properly

Hello,

I'm trying to create a zip file through the Servlet. Actually i'm created zip file but when ever i'm try to open the zip file, data is not proper for image or audio file.
Here the code in servlet:

		File fileName=chooser.getSelectedFile();
		String name=fileName.getAbsolutePath();
		App zip=new  App();
		try {
			statu = zip.compression(name);// name is the file path
		} catch (Exception e) {
			// TODO Auto-generated catch block
			e.printStackTrace();
		}
