hello
I Am new to java.I have written a program to implement an interface.
I have compiled the interface and got a class file.
But when i compile the class that implemented the interface i end with the classic error 'Symbol not found'
I had both the interface and the class that implemented it in the same folder.
And i have tried giving the classpath also but everything is in vain.
Can someone tell me where i went wrong.
Thanks in Advance

Hi, and welcome to the Ranch!

It's hard to tell you what you did wrong without seeing the actual details--the code, your directory structure, the command you used to compile, your CLASSPATH environment variable if it's set (which it shouldn't be).

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
