I recently started learning Java and at the moment i only run my code from the console within Eclipse itself, i want to know how to make the code create a new window that still outputs the same, is this possible? If so how?

Are you talking about making a full-blown GUI, or do you just want a command line window?

What OS are you using?

Most folk around here would say that if you are indeed brand new to java (and programming in general), you shouldn't be using eclipse yet. It hides too much stuff from you.

Definitely not a full GUI
I simply want it as a pop out window
I use Windows 7 Home Premium
Is there any other program you suggest i use? I like the lay out of Eclipse and all of the java tutorials i have seen use it, but i would enjoy something that is easier to use.
Also, i use Eclipse to import bukkit files to be used in Minecraft plugins

I use a command line and a simple text editor (ConTEXT) for almost everything I do. Of course, I don't do a lot of fancy stuff.
