Hi, I deployed a BPEL workflow using Apache ODE, on Tomcat 7. I have to
invoke a service that do a connection on a MySql database.

I try to do other workflows with services that don't need to connect
to a database and they work, so I think that it should be a way to
configure Ode for the connections to MySql DB.

Anyone can help me?

Thanks in advance,

The implementation of a WS is Java code like any other, there should be no particular difficulty in having it access a DB. What, exactly, have you tried, and how, exactly, did that not work?

What's the connection between BPEL and a database? Why does it matter what the code does as far as BPEL is concerned? If you have a WS that accesses a DB, I don't see where the problem would be using that WS via BPEL.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
