My question pertains to not the smaller servers like Apache Tomcat or Glassfish. I have a web site on Go-Daddy.com and wanted to place my web application on that site. I simply want to take my web application with its contents and have it run like it does on my Tomcat at home. Does anyone have a good link for me? Or is this simpler than I think it is.

Nope, it's more complicated than you think -- as in, it cannot be done. The server must support servlets for you to be able to run a Java web application.
