I'm running an MS SQL 2012 server however whenever I try and access it from my GWT project it fails to connect. The error message below seems very strange to me consider my normal java applications can access the same database just fine, it's only this GWT application that's having problems. Below are my console output and the classes involved, hopefully someone can shed some light on this for me as I'm at my wits end.

Console:

Let this be a lesson in looking through the forums before posting! Saw another thread a few posts down where a user was having problems with a database, it turns out using Google App Engine was the problem for me as well. Disabled it and cleaned the libraries from my classpath and I was good to go.

That's why we even have a Wiki for it => SearchFirst
