Some years back I remember reading about a browser plugin which would let the user
1) Open a page
2) Select some text/section/element
3) Add a "post it" kind of not the the selection.
You visit the same page later on and the note is displayed.

Does anyone know what this plugin is?

There are (or used to be) quite a few such tools. Maybe it was one of these: http://www.hongkiat.com/blog/top-web-annotation-and-markup-tools/

Thanks Ulf. I will check them out. I think Note Anywhere was the one I remember.
