make an Ajax call using Jquery to Struts Action Class

This is wat is in my jsp .

I have a struts-config.xml in which there is a mapping for the action



and i have a hello-servlet.xml (module specific spring bean file which is included in application context.xml)

which has the bean id mapped as


Will this ajax call work?

Did you tried doing so? if you don't try you won't get problem. and if you don't get problems you will be trouble if they arrive at wrong time and you won't improve your self as developer.

The best way to find out would be to test it Have you tried it your self ? was the result as you expected or did you face any issue ?

Yes i tried is uccessfullly could get the action class to be called. Simple action Action class without spring integration. Now i want to send json data .

How does one json data in this ajax call and receive it at the other end?

How to make fldatatype attribute in ajax and jsonify the data and send?

does it maen i have to do something like follows:

Also does any of have a links to an ebooks based on jquery and ajax?
