problems while driver loading in eclipse

This is one of those situations where the error message is very descriptive and tells you the problem you are having. I recommend trying to connect in a non-JDBC driver, aka a client program, using the same settings on the same computer to verify the route to the database is valid.

actually there was some problem with my firewall settings.
