Can anybody explain what is Factory Method with good easy example?

Factory method pattern is a good place to start, also with some examples and comments on them. I am sure that you can find a lot of other resources by searching the internet a bit.

Factory method is one of creational design pattern. It's mainly used to create the objects which is decoupled from the actual implementing system. You can think it as an interface and the subclass giving an actual definition while implementing the interface.
