HQL - COUNT - GROUP BY Pojo

Hi

I want a query like

SELECT COUNT(customer) as quantity,customer
FROM Customer customer
WHERE customer.name=:name
GROUP BY customer

I would like quantity field to set to a attribute in Customer called quantity. Quantity is not a DB field. How can i annotate the Customer Pojo and correct the query?
I want to avoid listing many attributes in Customer Object like so

SELECT COUNT(customer) as quantity,customer.name, customer.billingAddress,cutsomer.deliveryAddress
FROM Customer customer
WHERE customer.name=:name
GROUP BY customer.name, customer.billingAddress,cutsomer.deliveryAddress
