So you're asking us to help you create a malicious web site that will steal the visitor's Operating System login credentials and then send it to you?

No thanks.

Hi Tim

Seems like that from the description but nothing like that...I have to implement single sign on for a web app...so that if any user logs into the LAN machine, his machine credentials will be verified and based on that he will be able to access the application.

Hi Priya
It can be done in that way also. But as I wrote above i need to read the users credentials first. That too remote one. The webapp is on one server and all other machines in the same domain as the server can access the app. So i need to read the userid of the user who is accessing the app.

Can you suggest how that can be done.

I think you really need to access the LDAP, not the actual system. Moreover, you need not send the credentials, just have the user validated before he/she is sent to the web-app.
Since both the Active directory and the web server are on the same domain, you should be good.

Hi Amit, thanks a lot.
Can you tell me how can i read the machine credentials automatically and then send it to the server.
The user will only enter the url in his machine that's all he will do.

Thanks in advance.
