I am trying to run the following command in order to get a java applet using maven

Command : mvn clean install -Papplet.

after running the command a folder is generated which contains the index.html applet file. the file is being loaded but it is not functioning. plzz help me i am new to maven.

What does this mean? What piece of software is "loading" the file - appletviewer? a browser? something else? And what does "is not functioning" mean - what gets displayed? What message(s) do you see in the Java Console? TellTheDetails.

when i am trying to create applet through maven for my application(command: mvn clean install -Papplet). its creating a folder with all the jars and index.html file; i am trying to run the applet on the browser the applet loads and displays only the first screen of the applet. all the buttons present on that screen are not functioning.the application works fine when i am running the application in the net beans its working fine .the browser version is not functioning.

Also post the applet tag of the HTML page you're using, and describe the layout of the related files on your web server.

This is the html part of the applet. also i want to connect to mysql database on the server when i am trying to connect the applet through the server it givesz an exception

com.mysql.jdbc.exceptions.jdbc4.CommunicationsException: Communications link failure

The last packet sent successfully to the server was 0 milliseconds ago. The driver has not received any packets from the server.

I am trying to use the neurotechnology sdk for face detection in my applet.the issue is the database is being connected through the applet . i want to separate the business logic( comparing and validation of the face on the server). the code contains jar files and class files
