can we filter incoming sms android by phone no ?
I need to filter sms which sent by specific user and show it as a pop up.

I tried with below

this is my receiver class

but when i run the code ,it gives me below error.

That doesn't run the code, that fails to install it. I can't speculate on why that might be for lack of information; have you been successful installing other of your APKs, right before and after this happens?

now it working.anyway in my main activity there is nothing related to sms related codes.just print name.Anyway when i received a SMS from other user,does my app need to run or not?
Also don't need to add codes to main activity ?
