Can anyone recommend any books for swing which have elaborated GUI programming using MVC? I am mostly cocerned about MVC implementatioon rather than swing API guide. I am having hard time to understand to implement MVC in swing GUI. I have used MVC with PHP but that was different.

Hello there

Swing itself follows MVC pattern to some degree. Here for brief overview.

If you want a book on Swing, then I recommend the book "Swing 2e" by Matthew Robinson published by Manning. Some people consider this book as Swing bible.

I am not aware of any books. However check out the many links in the java api for "How to use xxx" e.g. file:///home/jswinger/Documents/javadocs7/api/index.html You will notice MVC is exhaustively used in Swing
Conceptually MVC is the same across languages.
