Hi
I know that Java SE networking is done by using java.net package . Is this package used for Android networking or a new other package is used ? If java.net package is used for Android networking , Is that used completely or some parts of it is used ?
Thanks

Android provides network functionality via http://developer.android.com/reference/android/net/package-summary.html

In addition to the android.net package, the java.net package is also available, as is the Apache Commons HttpClient library.
