Hey all,
This is my first post in JavaRanch, I referred javaranch threads very often before I sat for the OCPJP6 exam. I could get through the exam with a percentage of 83 (83%) thanks to Kathy and Berts and the EXAMLAB author Mr. Deevaka Cooray . I shall be very much obliged if someone can give me any advice on how to proceed after passing the OCPJP.

Thank you all in advance!

Frankly I read the study guide from Kathy and Berts ,, then I did the mock exams provided by the ExamLab simulator. That was all.

Thank you Priya Chek. To register to the exam I went to an Exam Center in my area, and I registered to the exam through that Exam center. You can find an exam center by following this link "http://www.pearsonvue.com/vtclocator/" or else you might be able to register for the exam through this site "http://education.oracle.com/pls/web_prod-plq-dad/db_pages.getpage?page_id=51"

I read the SCJP Study Guide by Kathy Sierra and Berts. Then I did few mock exams purchased from wizlabs, and also I did the mock exams from the ExamLab OCPJP Simulator. That's all I did. The actual exam is A BIT easier than the mock exams, but you will have to study. The book I mentioned above, really helped me a lot. I downloaded the PDF version of that book, but I would recommend you to buy that book from a book shop so that you can keep the book on your hands and read ( Much easier ).

Best of luck!

I did OCPJP6 , i have no big idea about the OCPJP7 exam. May be OCPJP7 exam is tough , but as per my experience on OCPJP6, it was not very tough, but considerably tough !
