Passed 1Z0-898 today. Took about 2 hours total to complete and check 2 times.

Here is what I did:
* Read Pro JPA 2 book 4 times
* Enthuware 3 times and read the explanations. Started at 50-70% range and ended in the 90% range on the 4 tests. The real test has very similar type of questions though not identical.
* EPractice once. Did not go back because of many errors in the questions. They need more editing.
* Skimmed some sections of the JPA spec.
* Pushed for migrating current project from EJB2 to EJB 3/JPA. Developed a prototype. This helped with some real world JPA mapping/coding.

Some notes:
* Pro JPA 2 book is not enough.
* The real test has less transaction questions than the Enthuware tests.
* I don't see people mention this. The real test allows you to right click a choice to grey it out as eliminated. This helps a lot. I basically greyed out all the choices I think are wrong for all 64 questions.

Cheers!

Yes, it is in the pipeline. But no release date yet.

Congratulations!

They gave me pumpkin ice cream. It was not pumpkin pie ice cream. Wiping my tongue on this tiny ad:
