Guys,

Am I missing something? I wanted to try out a simple hello world play app and I followed the tutorials as given in the Play documentation.

When I tried running play run, here is what I see!

From this output I guess you're already inside the play shell. Then you should only type 'run' because play is already started in a kind of interactive mode. If you are in the regular OS shell a 'play run' in the root directory of the project should work instead.
