How does Maven create application.xml?

When it generates it, Eclipse complains about the order of the tags so I have set:
<generateApplicationXml>false</generateApplicationXml>

But I would rather be able to change the format of how Maven formats it.

I suspect that the generation of application.xml, and how it orders the tags, is built into the plugin. You could always change the source for the plugin and offer the change back to the community, especially if the change fixes the tag ordering to conform to the DTD.

Thanks Peter Johnson. That sounds right given that I couldn't find anything. I don't know if it's an issue that affects anyone else but I'm definitely not knowledgable about doctypes to push something back. The only reason I know there is a problem is because Eclipse says so
