I use JBoss to deploy a few wars.

When we go to testing we rename the war files and even use some on Oracle and MSSQL so we use the database name in the war filename too.

Are there any way I can use something likeroot.war or *.war to automatic use the war name without opening the web.xml and renamaming the newly named war in <param-name>...</param-name>

Thanks

Lourens, welcome to JavaRanch.

Why do you need the war filename in the web.xml? How are you using that later on?

Which exact version of JBoss is this?
