I have a JSP which takes username and password. I want that same JSP should create 'USER' bean and set its property as in the textbox. Is is possible?

No. Once the JSP executes to format the response, it is done running. The generated HTML page is sent to the browser. When the form is submitted, it will be submitted to the servlet identified by the form's action. (Note: you should never submit a form to a JSP, which is a view component.)
