Hi Bio.
Thanks for your sharing with us. I have a few questions.
In RMH's book and Ivan's notes, they covers details about XML and schema, like XML inheritance, XML restriction , XML anonymous types, NMTokens, Union, list, enumeration, qualified and unqualified attributes, facet, DOM, SAX .....
Question 1 : Will these details on the
test?
I assume the test is all about web service related material like WSDL , REST service, SOAP, security and deployment of web service in
EJB container and
servlet container.
And of course, you are right that understanding the basics of XML is important for understanding WSDL.
Question 2: do we need to focus on the details about XML itself as well?
To understand more about REST, I am reading some O'Reilly books called REST in Practice and Java Web Service with Java-RS.
It is because Mikalin strongly recommend us to look for materials for more information.
His notes only highlight the important things for the exam.
But to completely understand everything, we still need to read reference books.
Please help. Thanks in advance.
