Hello,

I'm trying to run a Java program (just a "Hello World" program) from the IDE Eclipse, and so far without success.

When I press the "run" button, a box comes up that says "This selection cannot be launched & there are no recent launches"

I'm clueless as to why it doesn't run & what that message means.

The program I'm trying to run will execute from the command prompt.

Thank you

The java process/instance of jvm associated with it will be still runnning, you can just logoff and login, i wouldn't recommend killing the java process from task manager as lots of other applications also use java !!!
