HI everybody,

Referring to the CallableStatement at a certain point this oracle java tutorial says:

Can the formal parameter be assigned a value in the stored procedure?

referring to the CallableStatement they say:

Formal parameter cannot be used in an expression; must be assigned a value.

After assigned a value can be used within the prepared statement itself in an expression right?
They just mean it cannot be used in an expression before assigning it a value.. am I right?

Thanks in advance.
