I see there is a mapping for a JAVA_OBJECT in java.sql.types.. However I knew that to store an object into a database, first it had to be serialized and then copied as a byte array in the database, for then be deserialized and be read back.
So where does JAVA_OBJECT come to play? Are there other ways to achieve it?
Thanks in advance.
