This week's book giveaway is in the Reactive Progamming forum. We're giving away four copies of Reactive Streams in Java: Concurrency with RxJava, Reactor, and Akka Streams and have Adam Davis on-line! See this thread for details.
I need to set up a regression testing plan for a large web app and JMeter seems like it may provide the neccessary functionality to do this (although it seems to be mainly geared toward load testing). I'm interested to hear any opinions you may offer concerning the viability using JMeter for this type of testing. The site in question is using PostgreSQL,SSH, deals with uploading/downloading content, maintains user accounts, etc. I need to have test plans which make sure that certain actions users may take are operating properly after new releases are pushed out. Can this be done realistically using JMeter? Any suggesstions as to other packages which may be better suited to my needs are more than welcome. Thanks in advance for any input. ATS
