Cant Able to Login into my Existing java ranch account

Hi folks,

could any one help me out. i cant able to login existing account

What email have you tried? It has to match the one in the link for the account that you are trying to recover.

What email have you tried? It has to match the one in the link for the account that you are trying to recover.

i have only three email id three of them are not matching. other than that i have dont any other emaild.

another issues is simple,i dont get email alert from java monsoon
i din't get any updates some one replied to my thread or any private message to profile

i make a private message from this profile to my old profile. i did't receive any email in any of my email accounts.
and one more i ask my friend make any reply to any of the my post belongs to my old profile for that also i did't get any mail.

some one removed my mail id or something went wrong for profile. please anyone help me.

If you like, send me the email for the account (in private message), and I can confirm if it matches.


Also, you can try the spam folders of the accounts -- just in case, the coderanch stuff were marked as spam by your email provider.

My need is : i want to recover old existing account. i cant able perform login from that account.

so obviously i cant send a private message from that old account.

currently i'm having new account(temporary) i'm not going to use this account no longer. just for raising a request i set up this account.

i can able to send private message from this account to henry.

so could you please confirm me which account i have to drop a private message to henry.

Yes, please do that. Use the current account that you are using to post here and send the mail id of the other account which you are not able to login with. The intention is to make sure that you are using the correct email id that's associated with the other account which you are having problems with.

The log messages with PrivateMessageSpammer in them are where we attempted to send the email. The log messages with AspirinMailWatcher in them are where we received notification from the email provider that they had successfully received the emails.

The times are, of course, Ranch time (USA, Mountain time)

I send a private to you, in that i mentioned my email id. please check it.

I'm pretty sure Henry DID check it. That's how he knew what address to look for in our logs. What he told you was that

a) we sent the email
b) your email provider sent us the acknowledgement that they got it.

At this point, there is nothing more we can do. I would suggest you check with your email provider and ask THEM what happened to those emails.

i'm using gmail,hotmail,rediff accounts. i doest use private email providers.

forum admins any of them can one can able to send the link for resetting password for old existing account.

Well, that explains everything then. The other account that you are having problem with is not linked to any of these email providers. It's linked to some other email id which doesn't belong to any of these providers and apparently you are using an incorrect email id to reset your password for that account.

We are not going to send you a link to reset an account to an address you claim to own, but can't actually access. The reasons should be pretty obvious, but in case it isn't, if you can't access the email, we have no way to know you are the legitimate owner of the account.

thanks i found out that account, it one of my old yahoo account.currently i'm not using that account.
i hope that email going to that account.

while using yahoo id it sending the link.

The only way I know of for you to recover an old account is to access the email we send to the registered address of the account. You say it is your address, but you don't use it any more. You either need to use it to get this email, or abandon the old account and just start using the new one.

I'm just curious as to why it is so critical you regain access to some old account. What possible benefit/gain is there really?

Great. Glad that you got the account that you wanted. Unfortunately, for the same reason that we couldn't confirm that the other account is you, we can't confirm that you are the same user as the other account.

So, if you want the other account disabled, you will have to post the request here -- from the other account...
