I didn't know where to post this as in the certifications forums they are all specific to a particular certification track but I need just some advice. I know the base for all certifications is SCJP so that is a given but I was wondering if there is an EE Developer Exam similar to the OCMJD . All the JavaEE Web exams I see are divided into speciality areas and I was wondering if there is a genera web development one one excluding the architect one. I have only started my Java journey about a week ago and am planning everything upfront from books to exams i will take in the future to go the direction I want.

John,
The web component certification (OCJWCD) sounds closest to what you are looking for. Not exactly though.

Thanks It seems though it is also just a multiple question exam so I will do it along with the OCMJD SE as I would like to do a project.
