I am trying to evaluate using websphere webservices ( v7) for consuming webservices
The requirement is to consume webservices which requires security related features like username token,
timestamp , signature added in the outgoing requests. We also need to call this from the EJB tier .
The websphere webservices seem to address all of our requirements , but I was just wondering if Websphere based webservices implementations are used widely in the industry ?
Other than the vendor lock in issue are there any known problems in using this in Production?
We also evaluated Apache cxf , but ran into classloader issues while invoking it from the EJB tier .
Thanks
Jothi
