Hi Friends,
I have created an
public class ScanFileAppender extends RollingFileAppender,
and defined following things in log4j.properties
log4j.appender.OutLog=ScanFileAppender
log4j.appender.OutLog.File=D:/projects/tests/testlog.log
#and few more properties of the appender.
.
.
I notice that the 'testlog.log' is not created, if the mentioned file path does not exist.
Is it necessary that the mentioned log filepath must pre-exit?
i.e. it it necessary to have 'D:/projects/tests' folders [in this case]?
this is quite urgent. plz guide.
I am new to this topic.
Thanks and regards
-Kevin Bhai
