Hey guys,

Today I cleared the OCAJP exam with a shocking score - could not believe it for a second if i have seen the score correctly or not.

Would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the authors of books and Enthuware, for making the entire learning process effortless.

Also would like to express my gratitude to all the fellow members of this forum whose guidance helped me to decide where to start from. This is my first interaction with Java.

As per the guidance given by all the fellow members given in this forum,
* I started my introduction to Java using Head First Java - a great book for a beginner!
* Progressed to Certification guide by Mala Gupta - a great book exactly up to the point. Loved the way all the topics were introduced with the exam in mind. I read the entire book cover to cover twice. Practice questions given in this book are comparatively easy.
* Referred K&B - a great book to understand all the concepts in depth. Loved the way all concepts were explained. Really a great book. Practice questions in this book are relatively hard.

* Practiced all the 6 mock tests of Enthuware - special thanks to Paul / AnilPrem. Because of his software all the questions in the exam felt like a breeze. The more MCQ you solve, more better and faster you get in answering the questions and in reading the code. Today I completed the exam with more than half an hour to spare!
Mock test percentages were as follows 60%, 66%, 73%, 80% (i passed only one time), 72% 70%.

Hope this info helps other aspiring OCAJP candidates.

Once again THANK YOU ALL!

Now need to get on track with OCPJP

Best Regards,
Kumar.
