What’s new in this release?

The long awaited version of Aspose.Pdf for Java 4.2.0 has been released. Since we introduced the auto-ported version of Aspose.Pdf for Java, we have been working to make this new product as stable and robust as its sibling on .NET. This new release provides a better and more stable PDF to image (TIFF, JPEG, PNG) conversion feature as well as the capability to search for text strings split over two lines. This requirement can be accomplished using Regular Expressions. This version is also compatible with Google Web Toolkit. Some important bug fixes included in this release are given below

- Searching text split over two lines
- PDF to TIFF - Problem with type3Font decoding is resolved
- PDF to PNG - Image appearing as black rectangle is now fixed
- PDF to TIFF - Resultant file contains large black rectangles are now fixed
- PDF to JPEG - PdfConverter produces inconsistent colors issues is resolved
- PDF to JPEG - Resultant images are now corrected
- Signature image appearance on second page is enhanced
- PDF to TIFF - resultant file contains black images is now fixed
- GWT compile fails due to new Aspose.Pdf Version in Eclipse is resolved
- creatApplicationlink() now properly working
- Insert method of com.aspose.pdf.facades.PdfFileEditor is malfunctioning
- Problem is resolved while downgrading PDF version to 1.4
- Javax.servlet package bundled with Aspose.Pdf for Java jar
- Exception resolved for PDF to TIFF conversion
- PDF to TIFF - Exception during conversion is resolved

It supports Floating box, PDF form field, PDF attachments, security, Foot note & end note, Multiple columns document, Table of Contents, List of Tables, Nested tables, Rich text format, images, hyperlinks, JavaScript, annotation, bookmarks, headers, footers and many more. Now you can create PDF by API, XML and XSL-FO files. It also enables you to converting HTML, XSL-FO and Excel files into PDF.
